Millwood Inc., a leader and innovator of unit load and packaging systems, materials and services, has hired John Moore as director – corporate marketing.
Moore will oversee and coordinate Millwood’s marketing and communications initiatives across the company’s business units, product lines and national account development. He will also assist with market research, including the evaluation of acquisition targets as Millwood continues to look for opportunities to expand its business. Finally, Moore will be the primary point of contact for media organizations seeking information about the pallet industry and trends in unit load design.

Moore brings extensive experience in industrial marketing to the position. He spent ten years with the Reliance Electric Motor Group’s marketing and sales team before co-founding Hilty Moore & Associates, Inc., a marketing firm that specialized in developing and implementing marketing and business growth strategies for industrial companies. Prior to joining Millwood, Moore was a managing director and principal with Skoda Minotti, a Cleveland-area CPA, business and financial-advisory firm.
Mr. Moore earned a BS in Marketing from Miami University, Miami, Ohio, and an MBA degree in Marketing from John Carroll University. He is a soccer coach for Gilmour Academy’s high school soccer team. Mr. Moore lives with his wife and two children in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. John will serve as a volunteer member on the Reusable Packaging Association’s Marketing and Communication Committee.
