Supply Chain Conference - Automotive LogisticsLivonia MI, USA 10 May 2016: CHEP Automotive and Industrial Solutions are proud to sponsor ‘The Supply Chain Conference 2016’. A first of its kind event from Automotive Logistics, focusing on the flow of inbound parts for production and aftermarket.

Taking place in Atlanta, GA on May 17-19, the event looks to bring together senior executives from OEMs and tier suppliers with logistics service providers of all types. It is a part of a suite of conferences for 2016 which will see 11 events held from Detroit to Delhi, Chengdu to California and Mexico City to Moscow all of which are backed by a group of leading suppliers of supply chain services.

The global series of conferences orchestrated by Automotive Logistics typically receive accolades from those in attendance for their value in networking and uncovering new supply chain solutions. “Informative, topical, [an] excellent networking opportunity and exchange of ideas,” said Carl Zimmermann, logistics manager for Magna Powertrain, after the Automotive Logistics Global conference last September.

As a part of the Brambles family, the global leader in supply chain logistics and reusable packaging solutions, CHEP has been working with the automotive industry since 1975, providing solutions to help customers transport goods through their supply chains more efficiently, sustainably and safety.

CHEP has already sponsored similar events in the US, Mexico, Brazil, Germany, China and India over the last year. “We are excited to gain another opportunity within our region to connect with colleagues who work closely with inbound parts supply chains,” said Chris Buchanan, Director of Sales at CHEP, who will be an event panelist in a session entitled The Suppliers Supply Chain, “this new Conference aims to speak directly to our key customers and will provide a targeted audience receptive to improved practices surrounding automotive supply chain management.”
