Both CAPS and the AIB work closely with the food and beverage industries. Founded in 1998, CAPS has spent more than 10 years providing container rental, repair, cleaning and management services to its liquid and dry customers. Nearly three years ago, the company opened its flagship Service Center in Livonia, MI to expand these offerings.
“We’ve always held all of our CAPS’ Service Centers to the highest quality standards,” explains Ivan Waterbury, CAPS’ Director of Operations. “By participating in this thorough audit and adhering to the stringent standards set forth, our customers can be confident that reusable shipping containers delivered by CAPS are safe and reliable.”
The comprehensive AIB audits include the assessment of company policies and operations, as well as the evaluation of the physical condition of the grounds, buildings, production and storage areas.
“We are extremely pleased to not only meet the required AIB standards, but to exceed them and receive a Superior Rating,” explains CAPS’ CEO, Robert Wiedmaier. “Participating in audits conducted by organizations such as AIB is critical to our customers’ success and ensures we continue to strive daily for excellence in quality.”
